How to enable JavaScript
Chrome
Go to the
Chrome Menu
and select
Settings
.
At the bottom of the
Settings
screen, click the link
Show advanced settings...
.
Under the
Privacy
section, click the button
Content settings...
.
Under the
JavaScript
section, select the
Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)
option and click the button
Done
.
Close the
Settings
tab and refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+r (Command+r on Mac)
or by using the
Reload
button in the toolbar.
Internet Explorer
Go to the
Tools Menu
and select
Internet Options
.
Click on the
Security
tab.
Under the
Security level for this zone
section, click on the button
Custom level...
.
Scroll down to the
Scripting
section, near the bottom of the list.
Under the
Active Scripting
section, select the
Enable
option and click the button
OK
to exit the
Security Settings
window.
When prompted with a warning message, click the button
Yes
.
Click the button
OK
to exit the
Internet Options
window.
Refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+r (Command+r on Mac)
or by using the
Reload
button in the toolbar.
Firefox
Open a new tab and type
about:config
and hit enter.
When prompted with a warning message, click the button
I'll be careful, I promise!
.
In the search box at the top, type in
javascript.enabled
.
Under the
Value
column associated with the
Preference Name
entered in step 3, toggle to
true
.
Close the
Config
tab and refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+r (Command+r on Mac)
or by using the
Reload
button in the toolbar.
Opera
Click on the
Opera
button at the top left of the browser and select
Settings
.
Click on the
Websites
tab.
Under the
JavaScript
section, select the
Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)
option and close the
Settings
tab.
Restart the browser for the new settings to take effect.
Safari
Go to the
Safari Menu
and select
Preferences...
.
Click on the
Security
tab.
Under the
Web content
section, select the
Enable JavaScript
option and exit the
Security
window.
Refresh your browser, either by using the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+r (Command+r on Mac)
or by using the
Reload
button in the toolbar.
